Erg Rental – Woodson Rowing

Woodson Rowing would like to offer interested and returning athletes the opportunity to rent one of the team’s available ergs for the summer and fall. The cost to rent is $200.00.

This form will close on May 28.

Please indicate below which date you would like to pick up the equipment (May 29 or May 31). If are not able to pick up on these dates, please send an email to [email protected] to make arrangements for pick up.

(Please note: We will set a date sometime in mid- to late-October to return the Ergs and prior to the start of winter conditioning. We will remind you either by email or text, and through the team newsletter about the date and time.)

Rental Agreement

The Renter (parent or guardian of athlete) will keep and maintain the Erg during the terms of the rental period in a good state of repair, normal wear and tear excepted, and prevent damage to the Erg.

The Erg will be delivered to Renter and returned to Woodson Rowing at the Renter’s risk, cost and expense on the dates specified by the board of the Woodson Rowing. The point of delivery and return is the Erg Shed located at the Woodson High School.

The Renter shall pay Woodson Rowing full compensation for replacement and/or repair of any equipment which is not returned because it is lost or stolen, and/or any equipment which is damaged and in need of repair to put it into the same condition it was in at the time of rental, normal wear and tear excepted.

Woodson Rowing makes no warranty of any kind regarding the rented equipment, except that Woodson Rowing will replace the equipment with identical or similar equipment if possible in the event the equipment fails to operate in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and operation instructions. Such replacement shall be made as soon as practicable after RENTER returns the non-conforming equipment.

Renter accepts, uses, and returns the Erg entirely at their own risk. Additionally, the RENTER indemnifies and holds Woodson Rowing harmless for all injuries and/or damage related to the rental and use of the Erg.

These terms are accepted by the Renter upon delivery of the terms to the Renter or the agent or other representative of Renter.
