The 2026 regatta schedule for Woodson Rowing. This schedule is subject to change.
- March 21 Polar Bear Regatta , Sandy Run Regional Park. Only varsity boats row at this regatta, but all athletes should attend to observe and experience a regatta before competing.
- March 28: Noxontown Regatta (aka Invitational at St. Andrews), Middletown, DE. Travel regatta. All boats participate. More information can be found here.
- April 11: Tri-Meet with Wakefield and Washington-Liberty High Schools, Anacostia River, Washington, DC. Informal scrimmage. More information can be found here.
NOTE: this is an excellent location for spectators (especially those who have trouble getting to the grandstands at Sandy Run).
- April 18: Ryz Obuchowicz Regatta, Sandy Run Regional Park.
- April 25: Al Urquia Regatta, Sandy Run Regional Park.
- May 2: Virginia State Championship (Day 1), Sandy Run Regional Park, Fairfax Station, VA. Novice/junior varsity boats and varsity boats often race on different days. The schedule will be posted later in the season.
- May 9: Virginia State Championship (Day 2), Sandy Run Regional Park, Fairfax Station, VA. Novice/junior varsity boats and varsity boats often race on different days. The schedule will be posted later in the season.
- May 15-16: Stotesbury Cup Regatta, Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA. Travel Regatta. We will try to take as many boats/athletes as possible.
- May 22-23: SRAA National Championships Regatta, Oak Ridge, TN. Only qualifying boats attend. Qualification is determined by placement at the Virginia State Championships.
