560 Noxontown Road, Middletown DE 19709
The picturesque Noxontown Pond is an amazing opportunity for our athletes to experience traveling to a regatta to race new teams, all while being on the beautiful campus where the movie Dead Poets Society was filmed.
TRANSPORTATION: Athletes are responsible for their own transportation to and from St. Andrews. It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive. Use this address for easiest GPS navigation: Rodney Point 560 Noxontown Rd, Townsend, DE 19734 or Use this Google Map link to reach the Regatta visitors area.
FIELD TRIP FORMS: Please make sure you have filled out the driver/rider forms if you are a parent driving or an athlete driving OR riding to this regatta with someone other than your family. All forms can be found here: FCPS Field Trip Forms. Forms should be turned in to Jenn Ros, Membership Chair, by Friday, March 31.
ON-SITE DIRECTIONS: From Noxontown Road, you will pass St. Andrew’s School on your right. Continue around the bend in the road and on your right you will see Noxontown Pond, the race course, and then a fenced field with buses, tents, racing shells and parked cars. Turn right into the race and parking area at the break in the fence. Drive along the dirt road or across the field and look for the rowing tents and cars parked on the edge of the pond. There will be “Crew” signs posted to help direct you to the right place.
